After reading stories about restaurants that were sued for April Fool’s Day jokes, we decided to play it straight. But we want to have a little fun!
So we’ll give you a 50/50 chance at winning free food!
Here are the rules:
- Dine at Pizzeria Venti (2770 Lenox Road) on April 1, 2010.
- When you order, you’ll pay for that meal.
- We’ll flip a quarter.
- Heads — We win, but you also get to enjoy your wonderful meal.
- Tails — You win! You get to enjoy your wonderful meal AND we’ll give you a gift card for the same amount as your bill.*
One coin toss per customer. If you’d like to order dessert, please order with your meal. No separate coin tosses for customers.
Not valid with other promotions or coupons.
*We’ll pre-load gift cards in $5 increments, so we’ll round your total to the nearest $5. For example, if your ticket is $7.50, we’ll give you a $10 gift card. If your ticket is $7.49, we’ll give you a $5 gift card. $25 maximum on gift cards.

We will pour three Chilean wines and three Italian wines. All of our tasters will vote for their favorite wines. We won’t tell you which is which until you’ve voted.

On Tuesday, March 23, Pizzeria Venti will donate 10% of dinner sales to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Team in Training program. The donations will support the fundraising goals of the Atlanta team running in the Marathon de Paris on April 11.

 Popular hometown band Laughing Pizza is playing a concert at GPB TV to launch their new CD “Let’s Go Play!” and the television premiere of the new “Let’s Go Play!” video. The concert is Sunday, March 14, at 3 p.m. (A few tickets are still available – click here to buy tickets.)
Sue Rodman, author of Field Trips with Sue will be introducing the band on Sunday. (And we’re grateful to her for introducing us to the band! You can also follow Sue on Twitter & Facebook — she knows all the fun activities for kids in Atlanta!)
After the show, the Laughing Pizza family is coming to Pizzeria Venti for a pizza party! We’re offering our $20 Friends & Family Special for the party. $20 for a full pan of pizza (cheese, pepperoni or sausage) + endless salad and 4 sodas. Bring your little ones to meet the band!
I see Laughing Pizza songs on GPB TV several times a week. I love that my little boy has just started dancing around to the songs. Our favorite is “Love Makes a Family” and I can’t wait to hear the new songs!
When I first heard about the concert, I checked out the band’s web site and realized they are from Atlanta. They have a great story about how the band came to be. You can also find out more about the band on their Facebook page.
